Trine Harmonious Aspect

The Trine aspect indicates energy flows between two or more planets, distant from each other about 120 degrees which merge and harmonize in a natural, easy, smooth and harmonious way. It acts as a bridge between the planets involved in the aspect which, although different from each other, are found in signs belonging to the same element: Fire with Fire, Earth with Earth, Air with Air and Water with Water, a characteristic that it is the basis of the harmony of energies.

The areas indicated by these planets whose forces are involved in an easy and reciprocal exchange, usually show ways of being or moods, so spontaneous and natural as to be considered faculties or real talents to use in life. In a birth chart, it is an aspect that we are going to look for (and we hope to find) because it could be very useful. In the sense that the person often relying on innate abilities represented by that aspect of the trine. It may be able to smooth or at least alleviate potential difficult situations to manage such as oppositions and planetary quadrature.

This is why the trine is considered to be an easy aspect that is particularly favorable and balanced, in reality in some cases it leaves something to be desired. Moreover, the expressions of the energies in the field tend to combine and complement each other spontaneously without any particular effort. The person experiences this aspect in a completely unconscious way, like a dowry or an ability, rained down from the sky for which he didn't have to fight in any way.

We mean that often a natal chart full of positive aspects can indicate a person who lives his or her existence with a wide scope. And perhaps this static condition produces a sort of passive acceptance, devoid of the dynamic momentum so useful for growth and change.

Let's take an example - let's analyze a trine between Mars and Mercury.

In theory, this aspect seems advantageous for both planets, the individual will have a particularly developed mental agility, a natural sense in affirming his person and in communicating his desires. Intellectual perception (Mercury) prompted by good looks with Mars will tend to pick up messages. But too much confidence in one's mental agility will not always facilitate the necessary harmony with other people.

Excessive awareness of one's ability to reach and understand others will harm a mutual and equal exchange of ideas. Furthermore, such inexhaustible intellectual agility will lead the person to get excited about everything and without the favorable help of a planet that facilitates the realization, the ideas will not be carried forward with perseverance.
